The day of your surgery: Our Surgery Center will let Heartland know the time you are expected to arrive at your home following recovery from surgery. A Heartland registered nurse will meet you at your home, assist you, answer your questions, and ensure your comfort prior to leaving. The day after your surgery: A Heartland registered nurse from will visit your home to provide incision care, pain control, and answers to your questions. A physical therapist will also visit you to begin the therapy ordered by your physician. The therapist will also set up a schedule with you for future visits.
