OSI Voted Best of Valley for Sports Medicine Program

October 31, 2016

The Appleton Post-Crescent released its 2016 Best of the Valley Readers' Choice Awards on October 30. The Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (OSI) earned the top spot in the Sports Medicine Program category. This marks the sixth consecutive year that valley residents have chosen OSI for this award.

The Orthopedic & Sports Institute was designed by its physician-owners to offer a full spectrum of on-campus patient services in a state-of the-art facility. OSI's unique care model includes sports medicine, total joint replacement, spine surgery, and work-related rehabilitation.

The 65,000 square-foot Appleton facility includes a surgery center, an imaging center with MRI, physical therapy, pain management, orthotics, and an extended-stay recovery facility focused on orthopedic and spine rehabilitation.

OSI also has convenient locations in Green Bay, New London, Ripon, Shawano, and Waupaca. OSI’s commitment to providing industry-leading results has given rise to innovations in Direct Contracting, Workers’ Compensation, bundled pricing, and recovery facility design.

Additionally, OSI has been recognized for its dedication to community wellness initiatives. Orthopedic surgeons from OSI provide sideline coverage at Appleton High School football games and offer free Saturday injury clinics for high school athletes in the fall sports season.

OSI is a founding member of NOVO Health, a group of independent providers offering specialty healthcare solutions to self-insured companies that save money and improve the quality of medical outcomes. Fellow NOVO founding members Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology (Cancer Treatment Center), Neuroscience Group and NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin (Neurology Center) were also recognized with awards.
