OSI Welcomes Dr. Timothy Mologne

Dr. Timothy Mologne heads up the care team at OSI’s new Oshkosh clinic.

Dr. Timothy Mologne recently joined the team at the Orthopedic & Sports Institute (OSI). A board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, Mologne will provide care for patients at OSI’s Appleton campus as well as in Oshkosh at an upcoming NOVO Health Clinic site.

Mologne began his medical career in the United States Navy. During his illustrious twenty year naval career, he flew F-14’s as a naval flight surgeon during Desert Storm, served as an orthopedic surgeon in Okinawa, Japan, and taught sports medicine and arthroscopy as part of the largest orthopedic surgery residency in the military.

Proficient in state of the art techniques including arthroscopic rotator cuff injuries, shoulder instability repairs, as well as cartilage and meniscal transplant and ligament reconstructions of the knee, Mologne provides his patients – both new and established – the very best in orthopedic care and education to get them back to their optimal level of performance.

“I am proud to be part of the OSI family, which has distinguished itself as a premier provider of comprehensive orthopedic care,” said Mologne.

Since moving to Appleton in 2004, Mologne has established himself as a regional expert in shoulder and knee surgery. His extensive experience and proficiency in complex shoulder surgery resulted in his selection as a member of the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons in 2009. Mologne is one of only three surgeons in Wisconsin to be accepted into this prestigious society.

Mologne performs surgery at the ambulatory surgery center located on the campus of OSI, which provides safe and cost-effective outpatient surgery as well as inpatient procedures with post-operative care delivered at Recovery Inn, the attached skilled nursing facility.
