The 9th annual OSI/Miron April Fools 5K Fun Run/Walk to benefit Appleton High School athletics will take place on Friday, March 22, 2019. A yearly fundraising event for the Appleton Area School District (AASD), the April Fools’ 5K has donated over $120,000 to AASD’s athletic program fund since 2011.
Proceeds are divided equally among Appleton East, Appleton North, and Appleton West to fund athletic programs, teams, and necessary equipment at the respective schools.
In addition to hosting the race along with Miron Construction, OSI is also the exclusive athletic training services provider for the AASD, working with Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine to deliver a full range of services for student-athletes including training room and game coverage supplied by licensed athletic trainers, concussion management, strength & conditioning specialists, orthopedic physician game coverage, program management, community outreach and additional services.
