Medical Assistant

We are looking for two Medical Assistants who will create a positive first impressions and establish strong patient relationships while assisting patients with their requests in a fast paced orthopedic clinic, OCA, SC. Candidates for this position must possess a background in and a passion for serving customers, strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent problem solving skills.

This full-time position’s main responsibilities will be: prepare patients for examination and treatment, take patient history and vital signs, assist physicians with injections/aspirations, assist in cast application and removal, perform direct patient care as instructed by physician, assist in surgery and procedure scheduling, perform other selected nursing and administrative duties.

Work hours are Monday 8:00-5:00, Wednesday 8:00-5:00, Thursday 12:30-6:30 pm and Friday 8:00-5:00. This position will provide coverage mainly for our Appleton campus; however, travel to our satellite locations will be required for when coverage is needed. The weekly hours will be 33 - 40 hours per week. No weekends or holidays.

Recovery Inn Registered Nurse

The Recovery Inn, located on the campus of the Orthopedic & Sports Institute, is a unique facility offering highly specialized rehabilitation services to those recovering from joint replacement or repair surgery.  

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care and safety of patients. The RN is also responsible for ensuring effective communication among him/herself, the certified nursing assistant, the patient and their families, other staff, and physicians. The RN promotes restoration of health and the achievement of patient health goals through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and delegation in the delivery of patient care. The RN must be perceptive, with good judgment and decision-making/problem-solving skills, and must be able to understand and implement the plan of care. The RN must show courtesy and respect to other employees, patients, family members, and visitors while providing excellent customer service. 

We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to assist with vacation hours and additional staffing needs, must be available to work a variety of shifts.

Candidates for this position must possess a background in and a passion for serving customers, strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent problem solving skills. 

This part-time position’s main responsibilities will be greeting patients, verifying patient benefit information and scheduling appointments. Work hours are Wednesday and Thursday morning including Tuesday mornings occasionally. This position will provide coverage for our Waupaca, Appleton, and De Pere locations. The weekly hours will be 10 -15 hours per week with the range of hours from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm. No weekends or holidays.
